Finley, Beaulah J.

1868- 1923

Beulah J. Finley, of Pleasant Valley, has died at the age of 54. Born December 3, 1868, she had been a member of the Pleasant Valley Methodist Episcopal Church since 1892. She served as the first secretary of the Ladies Cemetery Association of Pleasant Valley which was established to care for the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in 1916.

Miss Finely was the granddaughter of Peter and Violet Amelia Wallace McCallum. Peter McCallum was born at Edinbrugh, Scotland on September 18, 1808 and came to America thru the Port of Charlston in 1814.

Her mother, the former Miss Jane McCallum, was born in York County, SC in 1839. Both of her parents are deceased.

Internment will be in the pioneer cemetery at Pleasant Valley.
